Our final assignment was to capture someone that we know well. I think i did a good capturing Jenna. I struggled with lighting a little, but overall it was a pretty good shoot.
These photos are of the same subject taken at the same time of day, just from a different direction. I love how the position of the light makes such a dramatic difference in the two pictures.
Our next assignment was celebration. I feel that this photo was a good expression of celebration. I had a little trouble with the brightness in this photo, so that is an area I could have improved.
For the next assignment I decided to play around with some things in the house to capture depth of field. What works better then candles right? After photo critique, Frame the photo better.
This assignment was a challenge for me, because I didn't have much time to find a good subject. For this one I used my roommate struggling to open a bottle of wine after a long day of work. My after photo critique would be for me to have the background less cluttered.
Our first assignment was to capture an interesting vantage point. I used two of my co-workers for this shot. My thought process was to capture the feeling of being walked on. In our job we often times feel as though we are being walked on by different people.
This is a journey of me growing as a photographer. It will display my work from the very beginning to wherever I may end up. It is a growing collection, so feel free to check back for more updates.
